Bio
Stela Ramirez is a Mexican‑American multidisciplinary artist working primarily in printmaking and book arts. Drawing from familial memory, spiritual disconnection, and cultural fragmentation, her work investigates themes of belonging, grief, and reclamation. She is pursuing a B.A. in Studio Art at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, where she is a founding member and co‑chair of the Student Art Exhibition Committee. Ramirez received the Judith Anne Wrappe Art Endowment Award, participated in the UAFS Summer Student Residency, and has exhibited in group and juried shows at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR, Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, and the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, with an upcoming capstone exhibition in Summer 2025.
